SOBAN

Traditionally in Korean society all meals were ate on the floor, for that Koreans used a low table surrounded with low fence called ‘SOBAN’. This project was inspired by traditional ‘SOBAN’ and reinterpreted into more contemporary tea table.

‘SOBAN’ minimalize of decorative forms and simplified fence that surround top to create this unique table. Like the elegant and old-fashioned Korean furniture, ‘SOBAN’ brings a calm and tranquil atmosphere into space.
