JaSeo.studio was established by Seo Sunghyeop and Kornelia Jaswilek,
currently based in Seoul and Warsaw.

JaSeo.studio focus on how our society treat objects.
We believe, role of the designer extends beyond problem solver into a term “creator of significance”,  only object caring significance to its user can overcome limitations of our society.


It presents a new discourse on how humans in modern civilization treat things. In other words, it is a way to grasp the relationship between things and humans and to examine the possibilities of this relationship. This process extends from the 'problem solver' of the physical domain to the 'semantic producer' of the social domain, where the designer solves a given task. When placing design in the social realm, we will be able to discover new possibilities of design, and we will be able to set standards that can overcome the limitations of modern society.
